Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at an Assisted Living Facility, facilitating a collaborative environment with leading dermatologists and healthcare professionals. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technologies in dermatology, providing an exceptional workspace that promotes both professional growth and a high standard of patient care. Your typical work schedule will include Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with one late shift each week from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and occasional Saturday hours based on patient demand (from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm).

Key Responsibilities

As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical tasks, including:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, gathering detailed medical histories, and performing thorough skin examinations.
• Diagnosing and treating diverse dermatological conditions, encompassing both medical issues such as eczema and psoriasis, as well as cosmetic concerns such as wrinkles and pigmentation disorders.
• Executing cosmetic procedures, including Botox injections, dermal fillers, and laser treatments, to enhance patients' skin appearance.
• Assisting in skin cancer screenings and providing exemplary post-operative care, ensuring patients are well supported during their recovery process.
• Delivering personalized skincare advice and crafting tailored treatment plans for each patient, aligning interventions with their specific needs and health goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to senior citizens, including residents of the assisted living facility. We cater to patients seeking both medical intervention for skin diseases and cosmetic enhancements that promote a sense of confidence and satisfaction in their appearance.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, preferably with a focus on dermatology or a specialty in family nursing that includes dermatology coursework.
• Must hold the Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) credential issued by the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB).
• Strong clinical acumen with an exemplary understanding of dermatological conditions and treatments.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome all qualified candidates, those with prior experience in dermatology, particularly in a Nurse Practitioner capacity, will be given preference. Specific proficiency in cosmetic procedures such as Botox and dermal fillers will greatly benefit your application.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 160,000 annually is commensurate with experience and performance.
