Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Job Overview We are a high-volume law firm representing clients seeking Social Security Disability Benefits. Our office is a fast-paced setting requiring an organized, self-motivated individual with phone experience and excellent communication skills. Prior legal or Social Security experience is beneficial. The ideal candidate for this job would need to be detail-oriented and have previous office experience. Responsibilities Filing briefs in U.S. District Court Communicating with clients in a compassionate manner Communicating with the Social Security Administration, including Administrative Law Judges Updating medical treatment records Identifying potential issues with cases Processing correspondence Document merge Learning a specialized client database Assisting staff with other critical projects Compensation and Benefits Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour (dependent upon experience).
