In this full-time remote position, the successful candidates will work within a telehealth framework to provide essential mental health services to a diverse client base. Work Environment\n

As a fully remote organization, South Central Behavioral Health Center utilizes telehealth technology to provide mental health services. This allows our therapists to reach patients who may not have access to traditional in-person sessions, thereby expanding our impact. You will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible flexibility to accommodate client scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments, identifying the specific needs of patients and collaborating with them to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to deliver effective interventions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate support groups and psychoeducational sessions that foster community, reduce stigma, and provide valuable resources to patients facing common mental health issues.
\n
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care that addresses every aspect of a patient's well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies with the aim of stabilizing and guiding individuals toward necessary resources.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to stay informed about advancements in mental health therapy and improve practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied population, including but not limited to adolescents, adults, and families dealing with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, and substance abuse issues. A commitment to cultural competence and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by this diverse clientele is essential.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.
\n
• Proficient understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional skills in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy to diverse populations, demonstrating cultural sensitivity.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster positive relationships with clients and coworkers alike.

• Uphold high standards of professional ethics and boundaries, exhibiting sound judgment in all client interactions.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and IT applications related to telehealth service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
