Work Environment\n

As part of our dynamic team, you will work remotely while primarily engaging with clients during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This remote setting allows for flexibility while upholding our core values of compassion and efficacy in mental health treatment. Our practice utilizes secure digital platforms for telehealth appointments, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to gauge the severity and nature of clients' mood disorder symptoms, taking into account their personal history and treatment goals.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating their input and preferences to ensure a tailored approach.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions—including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—to address a variety of mood disorders.

• Empower clients and their families with education about mood disorders and the available treatment options, providing guidance on effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adapt treatment plans as necessary based on the clients' evolving needs.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a holistic care approach for each client.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, contributing to an evidence-based practice.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance clinical skills and share best practices among peers.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and education concerning mood disorders, as well as by reducing stigma in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on a diverse population of clients experiencing mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will engage with individuals from various backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique cultural and psychological needs. By fostering a trusting, supportive relationship, you will help clients gain insight into their conditions and empower them to explore effective coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with demonstrated expertise in CBT, DBT, or similar methodologies for mood disorders.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and a track record of collaborating with medical professionals to coordinate care.

• Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to connect and empathize with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting, specifically in treating mood disorders.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for tracking client progress and documenting treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
