Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring you remain connected to our vibrant team of specialists. Our clinicians work flexible schedules from Monday to Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some adjustments as needed to accommodate patient demands. You will be equipped with the necessary tools to hold virtual sessions and access our electronic health records (EHR) system to maintain vital patient information in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health evaluations to assess the unique experiences of patients and create personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual and group settings, taking into account the cultural context of patients' lives.

• Facilitate sessions that enhance patients' coping strategies, resilience, and overall mental health, including crisis intervention during emergencies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide education to patients and their families regarding mental health topics, available treatment options, and relevant community resources.

• Maintain meticulous records that meet ethical standards and comply with state regulations.

• Engage in case discussions and team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to improve patient care.

• Participate in ongoing training in cultural competency to continually refine your understanding and practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele consists of individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, each bringing their own unique set of challenges and experiences. You will work with patients who may identify as LGBTQ+, those from different ethnicities, and families facing various mental health issues, ensuring that all clients receive considerate and tailored care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and culturally responsive therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy, applying inclusive approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the capacity to handle difficult situations with calmness and professionalism.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with a diverse patient base.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and other relevant technological platforms.
