Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our Boca Grande, Florida rehabilitation center, where a positive, collaborative environment awaits. Our facility is well-equipped for a variety of therapeutic modalities, assisting in hands-on treatment and patient education. The full-time schedule is Monday to Friday, providing a structured work-life balance while dedicating approximately 40 hours each week to your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions using both traditional and innovative rehabilitation practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills while engaging with patients and their families to enhance overall satisfaction and treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and integrated recovery pathways for patients.
• Provide in-home therapeutic care when required, applying advanced techniques to assist patients in improving their functionality according to their personalized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers about exercises and self-management strategies to foster active participation in the recovery process.
• Maintain documentation of patient progress and treatment adjustments in compliance with state regulations and clinic policies.
• Achieve performance and utilization metrics as set by the clinic to ensure business objectives are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation, including a diverse array of patient demographics, such as pediatrics, geriatrics, athletes, and individuals recovering from surgery or injury. The ability to adapt to each patient's specific needs and conditions is critical for success in this role. You will work to build long-lasting relationships based on trust and effective communication, encouraging adherence to treatment regimens and lifestyle modifications.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Possess a valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is required.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in conveying complex information clearly to patients.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using word processing and electronic documentation systems to track patient care and outcomes.
• Exhibit a commitment to building rapport with patients, aiming to inspire and support their recovery journeys.
• Foster community relationships and embody the clinic's core values in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic physical therapy or related specialties is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies and rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, full benefits are available, including:
