Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients dealing with functional limitations and orthopedic injuries, assessing their mobility and physical capabilities.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, goals, and patient preferences.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, occupational therapists, and other specialists to ensure continuity of care and the best outcomes for patients.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress, adhering to all legal and regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives, community outreach, and the development of new therapeutic programs.
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing professional development workshops, and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will employ evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring a holistic approach that promotes physical recovery and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or similar field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficient in using word processing and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

Experience in orthopedic physical therapy and familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation techniques are advantageous. Candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and specific clinical rotation experience will be preferred, as they bring additional expertise and insight to our practice.

Compensation and Benefits
