Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate communication among supervisors, team members, and families to provide updates on client progress and treatment adjustments.

• Share a detailed plan of care including appointments, home visits, and observation sessions to monitor the effectiveness of interventions.

• Organize and conduct home visits as needed for assessments, chart reviews, and collaborative discussions with family and guardians.
\n
• Ensure compliance with program strategies, accurately document session notes, and submit monthly and quarterly progress reports.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care strategies and share insights with diverse professionals.

• Conduct follow-up evaluations and home visits to continuously assess the evolving needs of clients.
\n
• Manage client records competently, ensuring that sensitive information is securely maintained and accessible to authorized personnel.

• Act as a liaison between the mental health community and the general public to foster understanding and support for mental health initiatives.

• Develop training materials aimed at enhancing program delivery and ensuring staff proficiency in documentation practices.

In your role at Brave Mind Mental Clinic, you will work with a diverse client base, including adults and youth experiencing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting, is mandatory.

• Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment.

• A robust understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, candidates with additional training in trauma-informed care or certifications in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT) will be highly regarded. Experience working in a telehealth environment is advantageous, as is a background in community outreach or advocacy related to mental health.
