Work Environment\n

This position embraces a fully remote work setting, offering you the flexibility to manage your schedule while fulfilling your therapeutic responsibilities. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including frequency, severity, and duration.

• Collaborating with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and challenges.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address specific mood disorders.

• Providing educational resources and support to clients and their families to foster understanding of mood disorders and effective coping strategies.

• Monitoring and documenting clients’ therapeutic progress, adjusting treatment plans in response to ongoing evaluations.

• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.

• Engaging in continuing education and professional development activities to stay informed of the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

• Advocating for clients within the broader healthcare system and promoting the de-stigmatization of mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may be at various stages in their treatment journeys. Our practice emphasizes culturally competent care, ensuring that all clients feel respected and understood throughout the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and its practical implications in treatment planning.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred, we highly value a demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and a history of positive outcomes in treatment. Familiarity with evidence-based practices, such as CBT and DBT, is essential for this role, along with effective communication skills to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
