Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough behavioral assessments to evaluate the intensity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients seeking help.

• Work collaboratively with clients to co-create personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients through their mental health journey.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, explaining treatment options, coping mechanisms, and self-care strategies to promote overall well-being.

• Systematically monitor clients’ progression throughout their treatment, adapting intervention strategies and treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Engage closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, including pharmacological considerations when necessary.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of mental health, particularly regarding mood disorders, to continually improve treatment practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment updates in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at our center, you will be working directly with a diverse population of clients who may experience a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Psychologist in the state of California.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• A strong foundation in psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals for integrated client care.

• A history of successfully achieving positive treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
