Work Environment

This position is onsite, operating within patients' homes throughout the Anaheim area. You will collaborate with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement effective treatment plans that align with each patient's individual needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitations, taking into account their personal medical histories.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on diagnostic findings, incorporating therapeutic modalities that are appropriate for each patient's unique situation.
• Implement and instruct patients on therapeutic exercise techniques designed to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as myofascial release, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
• Guide patients in the proper use of mobility and assistive devices, such as wheelchairs, walkers, or orthotics, ensuring safety and independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, using electronic health record systems to track progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding home exercises and treatment options to encourage participation in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role encompasses working with a wide range of patients, including children with developmental delays, adults recovering from surgery, and seniors facing mobility challenges. Each therapist at Dynamic Care Psychotherapy is trained to adjust treatment strategies based on age, ability, and injury or illness type, ensuring the best possible outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, vital for patient education and documentation purposes.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic medical record systems to maintain accurate patient files.
• A flexible mindset that adapts to the dynamic needs of our patients and their unique care environments.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in home care or outpatient settings.
• Experience working with pediatric or geriatric populations, as well as knowledge of specialized therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
