Work Environment\n

This role allows for flexibility as it is a remote position, enabling clinicians to maintain a work-life balance while fulfilling their responsibilities. Therapists will work during standard business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our outpatient-focused approach ensures that you engage with clients through a blend of telehealth and in-person sessions when necessary, catering to the needs of a broad patient demographic.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client's unique situation.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that target their specific needs and align with their personal goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment modalities, and coping strategies that empower clients in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance therapeutic efficacy.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each client.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest research and techniques in mood disorder treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records concerning client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards.

• Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations and team meetings to foster collaborative care and share best practices.

• Act as an advocate for clients by promoting destigmatization of mental health issues and supporting their voices in the healthcare system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our clientele represents a diverse spectrum of backgrounds and experiences, requiring culturally competent engagement and responsiveness to unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Demonstrable expertise in therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT, with a focus on mood disorders.

• Strong foundation in psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medical staff to optimize patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
