Job Description Esper is seeking a Sales Development Manager (SDR) to play a key role in our sales team, responsible for driving top-of-funnel pipeline growth through prospecting and lead generation. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for public sector technology and sales. This role requires a strong ability to engage with government decision-makers, schedule high-quality product demonstrations, and generate qualified opportunities for Account Executives. The Sales Development Representative will report to the Head of Growth and work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop new business opportunities. What You’ll Do - Support 1-2 Account Executives by prospecting and scheduling product demos. - Quickly develop a thorough knowledge of Esper’s products and how they address key challenges in government policymaking and operations. - Execute outreach campaigns and sequences created by yourself or sales management. - Maintain a high volume of daily prospecting calls (60+ calls per day) and emails to engage potential customers. - Establish credibility and rapport with prospects quickly to convert initial conversations into meaningful sales opportunities. - What We’re Looking For - 0 - 2 years of experience working in sales, preferably within B2B SaaS or public sector technology. - Experience using Hubspot or a comparable CRM is a plus. - Bachelors degree in Business, Political Science, Finance, or a related field preferred. Location This is a hybrid position open to candidates residing in Austin, TX, with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days per week.
