This role serves as a key resource for employee relations, policy interpretation, workplace investigations, compliance activities, and HR administrative functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and strong customer service. This individual will partner with management and employees to resolve workplace issues, support company policies, and help foster a positive and compliant work environment. Job Duties Employee Relations & Investigations • Facilitate communication between employees and management • Investigate employee relations concerns and workplace issues • Conduct and document safety-related investigations • Recommend corrective actions and resolutions as appropriate • Maintain detailed notes, documentation, and supporting records • Enter and manage case information within HR case management systems Policy Guidance & Compliance • Interpret and administer company policies and procedures • Provide guidance to management regarding policy application • Support progressive discipline processes related to employee and safety matters • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws • Support compliance audits and documentation reviews Safety & Workplace Support • Assist with implementation and administration of safety programs • Investigate employee safety concerns and complaints • Identify trends and recurring issues related to workplace safety • Recommend improvements to enhance workplace culture and compliance HR Administration • Support day-to-day Human Resources operations • Assist with I-9 processing and employment verification activities • Maintain employee records and HR documentation • Support onboarding and administrative HR functions • Generate reports and maintain HR-related records Training & Team Support • Train and mentor HR team members on employee relations processes • Share best practices regarding investigations and case management • Support process improvement initiatives • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned Reporting & Analysis • Track employee relations and safety case trends • Analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement • Prepare reports and recommendations for management • Support data-driven decision making and HR initiatives
