Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each patient and create tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective care.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops, fostering community and support among patients coping with similar challenges.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support services for patients in mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take charge of their well-being.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance treatment approaches.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health therapy to continuously improve your practice.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, assessment techniques, and therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective treatment strategies.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to a wide array of populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on building rapport with patients.

• Strong ethical judgement and commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technological tools necessary for patient care.

• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented atmosphere, valuing collaboration and shared knowledge.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting providing mental health services.
