Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Iselin, NJ, where you will collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming and resource-rich environment that prioritizes the well-being of patients while promoting advanced clinical practices among therapists. The standard working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a predictable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of assigned patients and establish customized treatment plans and goals tailored to individual needs.
• Provide direct, one-on-one patient care focused on maximized recovery outcomes through skilled therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain compliance with the New Jersey State Practice Act and adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans incorporating community resources and other practitioners when necessary.
• Document patient progress meticulously and track improvements to ensure treatment effectiveness and adherence to goals.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.
• Contribute to a culture of excellence by participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Rethink Counseling Center, LLC, you will provide care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Your role will involve using age-specific knowledge to tailor treatment plans that address various physical rehabilitation needs, particularly those related to orthopedic conditions.

Qualifications

• Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated track record of at least 2 years of hands-on experience in providing physical therapy services within a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation practices and methodologies.
• Adept in communicating effectively with patients and families, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a private practice or similar rehabilitation facility environment.
• Knowledge of specialized treatment modalities and rehabilitation techniques.
• Prior involvement in mentorship or training of junior therapists or students is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.
