Work Environment

You will work in a bustling outpatient office setting, where collaboration and teamwork are prioritized. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients to establish individualized treatment goals and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to facilitate optimal patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Maintain compliance with the New Jersey State Practice Act and adhere to standards set forth by the American Physical Therapy Association's Code of Ethics.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate treatment plans and enhance patient support.
• Document patient progress accurately and routinely, updating treatment strategies as necessary to maximize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities, including seeking feedback from colleagues and participating in training workshops.
• Address patient concerns and questions with professionalism and care, ensuring a supportive environment throughout their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters to a diverse patient demographic comprising pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Your role is pivotal in helping various patients achieve their rehabilitation goals while ensuring they receive the attention they need to feel respected and heard.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in providing physical therapy services, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Strong foundational skills in orthopedic rehabilitation with exceptional knowledge of treatment methodologies.
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients of varying ages and medical backgrounds, ensuring plans of care are tailored to individual needs.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation and knowledge of evidence-based practices will be given preference. Proficiency in utilizing therapy management software for documentation and scheduling is also favorable.

Compensation and Benefits

The physical therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
