Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, with the therapist providing care in the comfort of patients' homes. You will be working during standard business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet rewarding work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to determine appropriate treatment goals and plans, tailored to each individual's needs.
• Implement and facilitate goal-directed therapy sessions, employing various techniques and modalities to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Maintain adherence to the New Jersey State Practice Act and uphold ethical standards in accordance with the APTA's professional Code of Ethics during all patient interactions.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Continuously assess patient progress and make timely adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring each patient receives the most effective care possible.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the practice.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the practice and its mission of enhancing patient health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Rethink Counseling Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients across various age groups, from pediatric to geriatric clients. This position requires a keen understanding of the unique needs related to orthopedic rehabilitation, allowing you to develop and execute tailored treatment plans that address patients' specific challenges and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• At least two years of proven experience in providing comprehensive physical therapy services, specifically in a home care setting preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation practices and relevant treatments is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey treatment plans and progress are necessary.
• Competence in assessing and interpreting age-specific data and conditions to tailor treatment for diverse patient demographics.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with contemporary evidence-based therapies and practices in physical rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
