Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to students facing significant emotional challenges, including individual, group, and family therapy focused on symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.

• Conduct evidence-based assessments to inform treatment planning and implement integrated care plans that facilitate access to necessary services.

• Work collaboratively with school staff, educators, and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to student support, including participation in multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Maintain and manage a caseload while ensuring timely and comprehensive documentation of all interactions, assessments, and treatment outcomes.

• Actively engage in crisis intervention, utilizing appropriate techniques to de-escalate situations and ensure student safety.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain updated on best practices and emerging trends in behavioral health and social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work directly with a diverse population of students ranging from elementary to high school age. Many of these students are undergoing various challenges related to their mental health, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. This role requires an understanding of the unique cultural and social factors that impact student success, especially in an underserved community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in Texas.

Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a social work capacity, preferably in educational settings or working with children and adolescents. Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is advantageous. Familiarity with the school mental health framework and navigating educational systems will be a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
