Accounts Payable Clerk – Cape Coral, FL
Pay: $20–$21/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Fridays off at 4:00 PM)
A well-established company in Cape Coral is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their accounting team. This position will work closely with the Accounting Manager and provide support with accounts payable, accounting, and general administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Process and accurately enter ACH payments
- Assist with the implementation of a new digital accounting and payment system
- Support the Accounting Manager with daily accounting tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform data entry
- Process invoices and payments in a timely manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
- Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting support experience
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of accounting procedures and financial processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Professional communication and customer service skills
