Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to develop personalized therapy plans that address their unique struggles.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy, to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Document clinical interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while maintaining updated and accurate patient records within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, contributing your counseling expertise to ensure integrated care plans that meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to stay current with evolving research in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes individuals and families grappling with a wide range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance misuse. The Counselor will work with patients who have historically faced barriers to accessing care, fostering a nurturing environment where they feel safe to express their concerns and explore solutions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse client populations.

• A comprehensive understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to counseling practices.

• Proficiency in EMR systems and a demonstrated ability to navigate relevant technologies effectively.

• Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, determined by experience and caseload.
