Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand the needs and challenges faced by clients entering our detox program.

• Communicate regularly with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to discuss patient progress, treatment needs, and address any emerging concerns effectively.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with departmental standards and best practices.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, focusing on both immediate detox needs and long-term recovery strategies.

• Provide individual counseling and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to support clients dealing with emotional and behavioral issues encountered during detox.

• Offer crisis intervention services and support clients and families in coping strategies during challenging moments in their recovery journey.

• Actively engage and coordinate with families and support systems to facilitate effective discharge planning and post-treatment support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adults undergoing detoxification from substances, who often present with co-occurring mental health disorders. You will be responsible for addressing complex emotional and behavioral issues, empowering clients to embrace recovery, and developing the necessary coping strategies for sustained wellbeing. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
