Key Responsibilities\n

• Plan, coordinate, manage, and implement tailored support packages to assist clients in overcoming personal difficulties and dependencies.

• Conduct thorough assessments through interviews with service users to evaluate their current conditions, needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans by addressing each case holistically and establishing clear, measurable goals for progress.
\n
• Monitor, evaluate, and document clients’ progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
\n
• Provide counseling and guidance during therapy sessions, advising clients on appropriate actions and methods for coping with challenges.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential records of clients' interactions and progress, reporting status to relevant stakeholders.
\n
• Participate in case conferences, providing updates and advocating for client needs as necessary, including presenting information in court settings when required.

• Act as a key worker, liaising with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support for every individual.
\n
• Make referrals to additional community services to further support clients' recovery goals and promote long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals facing substance use disorders and related mental health concerns in a detox setting. Your efforts will focus on empowering clients to navigate their recovery journeys, bridging the gap between addiction treatment and long-term mental health strategies. Providing trauma-informed care, you will help clients recognize their strengths and build resilience as they work towards achieving sustainable recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), psychology, or sociology is required.

• A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in New York State.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in a clinical social work role, particularly within substance use treatment or mental health settings.

• In-depth understanding of social work theories, practices, and applicable social service laws.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and maintain professional relationships with diverse populations.

• Excellent resilience and critical thinking skills to assess complex situations and provide appropriate interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in detox or addiction recovery settings is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
