Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine their mental health status, history, and needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating recovery and enhancing quality of life.

• Provide regular individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to each client's needs.
\n
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, providing ongoing support and motivation.
\n
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track client progress and facilitate continuity of care.
\n
• Offer referrals to psychiatrists or other healthcare providers when specialized care is needed.
\n
• Engage in continuous learning and remain updated on the latest developments in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, each requiring personalized care that respects their unique life experiences and cultural contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Professional Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
\n
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in providing mental health therapy.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, best practices in therapy, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatments.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and making informed clinical decisions under pressure.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health records and related technology systems.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
\n
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in all interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar environment.
\n
• Familiarity with culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic practices.
\n
• Experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions.
\n
• Specialized training in treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
