Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for families and individuals, identifying areas of concern and developing tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitating therapy sessions with families, couples, and individuals—combining group dynamics with personalized approaches to address specific issues.
\n
• Specializing in diverse areas of mental health challenges including but not limited to: alcohol abuse, psychological and physical abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, job-related stress, blended family issues, and communication barriers.

• Implementing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy.
\n
• Tracking patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
\n
• Maintaining detailed documentation of therapy sessions in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your patient population will encompass diverse families and individuals seeking help for a range of mental health concerns. This includes working with both adult and child/adolescent clients in various contexts, particularly focused on relationship dynamics and family systems. The ideal candidate will be equipped to manage sensitive topics surrounding separation, divorce, grief, and integrated physical and mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

• An active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
