Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to gather vital information regarding students' mental health, emotional state, family dynamics, and social environments.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches tailored for the school population.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate specific goals and interventions aligned with students' educational and emotional needs.

• Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and other relevant professionals to create a coordinated care approach, ensuring that students receive holistic support.

• Provide crisis intervention services, risk assessments, and safety planning when necessary to respond to acute mental health issues in a timely and effective manner.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation programs, and support groups designed to enhance peer connection and communal resilience among students.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to all ethical and legal guidelines to protect confidentiality and facilitate ongoing care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse student population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment disorders. You will engage with students from different backgrounds, addressing issues that impact their academic performance and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of diverse evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment strategies applicable to the school environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
