Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client is a privately owned company managing multiple residential properties and a commercial office building. They are a small, stable office team with a long‑tenured staff and a hands‑on, old school work environment focused on accuracy and reliability. Responsibilities Process accounts payable and ensure timely, accurate payments Review and allocate invoices across multiple properties Prepare handwritten checks using manual checkbooks Maintain vendor records and W-9 documentation (~40 vendors) Track receipts and apply expenses to the correct property Use Rent Manager and Excel to record transactions Apply discounts and verify invoice accuracy Assist with light administrative duties (phones, mail/post office runs) Qualifications Accounts payable or bookkeeping experience required Property management experience preferred (not required) Strong attention to detail and organization skills Comfortable with manual processes and handwritten checks, must have neat legible handwriting.
