Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy for diverse client groups.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and literature review to stay informed about current trends in mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Morris Counseling Services, you will work primarily with individuals and families who may have low access to mental health care. You will support clients dealing with a variety of challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance misuse. Your role will be vital in breaking barriers to mental health for underserved populations within the Pittsburgh community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, providing direct therapy services.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines governing counseling practices.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, depending on experience and caseload.
