Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, followed by designing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual goals.

• Providing individual and group therapy utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions, ensuring that each session meets the unique needs of each client.

• Monitoring client progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and helping clients refine their therapeutic goals.

• Offering teletherapy options to clients, ensuring accessibility for those who face barriers to in-person visits, thereby expanding the reach of our services.

• Documenting client interactions and treatment plans accurately and promptly, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards that reflect our commitment to professionalism.

• Participating in ongoing training and licensure requirements, keeping abreast of new therapeutic approaches and honed clinical practices to continually enhance therapy quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele access support for a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications\n

• Current and valid license in New York State as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, non-judgmental perspective, and a commitment to understanding the unique experiences of clients.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the capability to manage client caseload effectively and maintain accurate records.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a therapeutic setting focused on outpatient care is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapeutic techniques is beneficial.

• Experience working with a diverse population, understanding cultural sensitivities in mental health practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range between $80,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload management. Additional benefits include:
