Due to the outpatient nature of our services, you will utilize teletherapy and other digital communication tools to conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and follow-ups. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify client needs, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect individual circumstances and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting your approach as necessary to effectively address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate care, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s treatment are effectively communicated and delivered.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress; respond with empathy to manage emergency situations while applying your clinical skills to de-escalate and stabilize clients.

• Engage in community outreach activities, delivering workshops and educational sessions to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental illness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload will include a diverse range of clients from various socioeconomic backgrounds, ages, and cultural identities, each presenting unique mental health concerns. As part of a community-driven organization, you will have the chance to work closely with individuals grappling with challenges such as PTSD, substance use disorders, family relationship issues, and major depressive disorder. Qualifications\n

• An active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in relevant fields, such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish authentic connections with clients to foster therapeutic relationships.

• Adept at cultural competence, ensuring sensitivity and awareness while working with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
