LAB Technician III

Our client, a leader in the advanced materials and transportation industry, is seeking a LAB Technician III to join their team. As a LAB Technician III, you will be part of the Surface Treatment & Priming Operations team supporting product development, quality assurance, and customer support activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: LAB Technician III

Location: Maplewood, MN

What's the Job?

• Support and operate aluminum panel etch and anodize surface treatment processes according to established procedures and industry standards

• Monitor and control chemical bath parameters such as concentration, temperature, pH, and immersion times to ensure process consistency and quality

• Prepare and handle chemical solutions safely, adhering to all safety and environmental protocols

• Inspect and evaluate treated surfaces for quality, conformance to specifications, and overall appearance

• Set up and operate primer spray booth equipment, including spray guns and pressure pots, to apply coatings accurately

What's Needed?

• Experience with surface treatment processes such as etching and anodizing is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures

• Ability to operate spray booth equipment and monitor environmental conditions

• Good documentation skills for recording process parameters and observations

• Commitment to safety and environmental standards in chemical handling and process operations
