Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while maintaining connection with our supportive outpatient office environment. You will work within structured hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to accommodate the diverse needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to properly understand patients’ unique experiences and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual needs of patients, considering their cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Engage clients in individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address mental health concerns, promote resilience, and enhance overall well-being.

• Collaborate intentionally with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, developing effective strategies to ensure patient safety.

• Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training to foster continuous learning and improve service delivery.

• Stay current with evolving research and best practices in mental health therapy, integrating relevant cultural considerations into treatment approaches.

Our client base is diverse, representing individuals from a variety of ethnicities, cultures, and backgrounds. You will work closely with clients of all ages, particularly focusing on underserved populations including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. Your ability to connect and empathize with these populations will be critical in providing effective therapy that resonates with their lived experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy using culturally responsive methodologies.
\n
• Excellent skills in crisis intervention, particularly in high-pressure or emotionally charged situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with a diverse range of individuals.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and relevant computer applications is essential for effective practice management.

• A firm commitment to uphold professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and respect for client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with diverse cultural populations and a demonstrated track record in clinical settings are highly desirable. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and additional certifications in relevant therapeutic modalities would also be advantageous.
