Kforce's client, an outstanding Long Island, NY-based independent CPA firm, seeks a detail-oriented professional as a Bookkeeper for their growing Accounting Services/QuickBooks team. Summary: The Bookkeeper will participate in providing bookkeeping services using QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online for clients in various industries. You should possess basic understanding of financial/accounting principles and tax compliance, able to maintain efficiency and accuracy while serving a portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include:
- Review and adjust client's books and records
- Bookkeeping for clients using QuickBooks desktop and online
- Assist with the preparation of compiled financial statements
- Process payments
- Post accounts receivables, client payments, accounts payables and payments
