Key Responsibilities

• Implement prescribed treatment plans under the guidance of physical therapists, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and effective care.
• Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic exercises and activities designed to enhance their mobility and recovery.
• Assess patients' needs by actively monitoring their progress and providing compassionate support tailored to their individual circumstances.
• Document all relevant treatment outcomes and patient interactions in a timely and accurate manner to maintain comprehensive medical records.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and the latest research in physical therapy to inform treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes.
• Measure and report patient performance metrics to the supervising physical therapist, assisting in the refinement of treatment plans.
• Participate actively in team meetings and discussions regarding patient status and treatment plans, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to care.
• Adhere strictly to ethical and legal standards of practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and safety at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic conditions, and patients benefiting from rehabilitation therapies. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or an equivalent qualification.
• Current licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida.

• Proven ability to effectively communicate and instruct patients in therapeutic exercise regimens.

Compensation and Benefits
