Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders, tailoring individualized treatment plans based on these assessments.

  Oversee and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address diverse client needs.

  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement integrated treatment plans, ensuring all aspects of the client’s mental health are considered and addressed.

  Provide ongoing support and education to clients’ families to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and foster better engagement in the treatment process.

  Maintain detailed and confidential client records, adhering to both regulatory and ethical standards for client privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role allows you to work with a varied demographic, including adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, located within the educational facilities served by our clinic. Qualifications\n

  A current and valid license in New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.

  At least two years of direct experience in a mental health counseling environment.

  Proven understanding and experience with evidence-based practices for treating a variety of mental health disorders.
