Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the patient’s unique history and needs.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in times of trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about the psychological impacts of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available resources.

• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to connect with clients compassionately and non-judgmentally.

• Experience with evidence-based trauma-focused therapy techniques and methodologies.

• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) software and other computer applications necessary for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed mental health professional, preferably in trauma therapy settings.
