Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing therapists to work from the comfort of their homes while connecting with clients in need across different settings. The work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, with the goal of tailoring treatment plans to enhance their recovery.

• Design and implement personalized treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery, employing evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to share their experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient well-being.

• Provide timely crisis intervention to support patients during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to further support recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient care and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with individuals affected by various trauma experiences, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and specific dissociative disorders. Our diverse patient population comes from various backgrounds, and we are dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care that honors each client's unique experiences and healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed treatment approaches and resilience-building methods.
\n
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations and provide a calming influence in crisis scenarios.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
