Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history, ensuring a tailored approach to their treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that emphasize trauma recovery, emotional resilience, and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to support patients in processing their trauma experiences and finding effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and support staff, to deliver integrated care that aligns with patient needs.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and guidance for clients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources to reinforce their healing journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation following legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care to enhance collective knowledge and practice.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy, translating new knowledge into practice to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary client focus includes individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to veterans, survivors of abuse, and individuals dealing with complex trauma responses. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license in the state of New Jersey as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care methodologies.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A compassionate, non-judgmental approach, particularly when engaging with patients in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record systems and other relevant digital applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, eager to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in providing trauma-informed therapy is preferred.

• Experience using trauma-focused therapeutic interventions is highly desirable, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
