Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records, documenting therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure continuity of care.

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to determine individual client mental health needs, using standardized tools and personal interviews.

• Craft and implement custom treatment plans that blend traditional therapeutic practices with alternative strategies to meet patient needs effectively.

• Participate in regular interdisciplinary case discussions with healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training to enhance your clinical skills and remain informed about best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on cancer patients at various stages of their experience, including diagnosis, treatment, recurrence, and survivorship. As a counselor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals navigate complex emotions, providing strategies to manage anxiety, fear, and uncertainty while promoting overall mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington State.

• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a third party.
\n
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with cancer patients or in oncology settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually , reflecting experience and caseload.
