Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct initial assessments through virtual meetings to evaluate clients’ mental health statuses and therapeutic needs. \n
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing the unique challenges each client faces. \n
- Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methods and culturally responsive approaches. \n
- Provide ongoing support, equipping clients with practical tools and coping strategies to aid their recovery and promote mental wellness. \n
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical doctors, to refer clients as necessary and ensure a holistic approach to their care. \n
- Document all client interactions and treatment progress within our EHR system to maintain accurate records and inform future therapy sessions. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to best practices in confidentiality and ethical standards. \n
Our patient population is diverse, spanning various age groups and backgrounds, with clients experiencing an array of mental health challenges including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Counselors are expected to adapt their therapeutic approaches to suit the individualized needs of clients while fostering a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- A current, valid license to practice as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts. \n
- At least four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling. \n
- A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, including culturally sensitive methodologies. \n
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong understanding of telehealth practices. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n
- Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the capacity to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure. \n
