Physical Therapist – Orthopedics & Sports Rehabilitation

Location: Emeryville, California

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Setting: In Person

Compensation: $50.00 – $58.00 per hour

Position Overview

Are you a Physical Therapist who values having the time to provide truly individualized, one-on-one patient care?

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join an established outpatient practice in the East Bay. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working closely with patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and helping individuals recover from orthopedic injuries and return to the activities they enjoy.

With 45-minute follow-up appointments , you'll have the opportunity to focus on quality patient care, build strong relationships, and create customized treatment plans based on each patient's individual needs and goals.

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions and functional limitations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care
• Provide exceptional, patient-centered care throughout the rehabilitation process

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy ( DPT ) degree from an accredited program required
• Active California Physical Therapist license , or eligibility for California licensure with a licensing exam date already scheduled
• Experience in orthopedics and/or sports rehabilitation preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based treatment practices
• Excellent clinical judgment and patient care skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Please note: This position is intended for licensed Physical Therapists or candidates actively pursuing California licensure. Candidates who are not eligible for California PT licensure will not be considered.
