The Lively Mental Health and Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our outpatient practice. This full-time position allows for a remote work setting, providing flexible opportunities to deliver exceptional mental health support to our clients in Oceanside, California, and beyond. With an annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000, this position offers an attractive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' psychological and emotional needs, enabling the creation of tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to support patients in achieving their mental health goals.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, providing a safe space to discuss common mental health challenges and foster community support among participants.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services when needed, guiding individuals in acute distress through critical times.
\n
• Educate clients about their diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and inform them of available community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement in their own care.

• Maintain detailed and concise documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

• Engage in continuous learning by attending case consultations and team meetings, and participate in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population includes a diverse range of individuals experiencing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. As a mental health counselor at Lively Mental Health, you will work with individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and needs, allowing you to apply your skills and expertise in real-world scenarios. Your work will directly contribute to improving the emotional and psychological well-being of clients in our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Clinical Psychologist in California.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated capability to conduct in-depth mental health assessments and formulating effective, individualized treatment strategies.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to diverse client populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting and working with a multidisciplinary team is highly desirable.
