Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and gather complete medical histories to identify patient needs.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, particularly those related to pain management and rehabilitation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Order, interpret, and discuss diagnostic tests with patients to inform treatment decisions.
• Provide extensive patient education on managing pain and preventing further health complications.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other health care professionals to optimize overall patient care and expedite treatment processes.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at Iron Gate Health & Pain Center, you will focus on elderly patients and individuals with chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will significantly impact the quality of their daily lives, offering essential support and guidance in managing their health challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required; a Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pain management or similar fields is necessary.
• Active RN licensure in New York State.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
• Exceptional clinical skills, with a strong ability to assess and diagnose patients accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Adept organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of patients in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in geriatric care or rehabilitative services is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and their documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position comes with a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to the base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
