Pain Management Nurse Practitioner - Full-Time - Onsite at Broadway Counseling Center

Position Overview

We are actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Nurse Practitioners to join our dynamic team at Broadway Counseling Center. You will work onsite in a school setting, where you will engage with both students and staff to address pain management needs holistically. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations to evaluate patients' conditions.
• Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests strategically to inform patient management.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including both pharmacologic (narcotic and non-narcotic) and non-pharmacologic interventions based on established practice guidelines.
• Assess the appropriateness of patients for interventional pain treatments including epidural steroid injections, trigger point injections, and spinal cord stimulator placements.
• Perform technical procedures such as greater occipital nerve blocks, removal of temporary SCS leads, and administration of Botox/Dysport injections.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes within our health information system.
• Engage in ongoing patient education to ensure understanding of treatment plans and self-management strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on managing the pain and related physical challenges faced by students and staff in a school environment. Qualifications

• A master's degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on Pain Management or Geriatrics is preferable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: Critical Care, Family Nurse Practitioner roles, inpatient and outpatient settings, pediatrics, or telemedicine is highly desired.
• Familiarity with pain management procedures will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $85,000 and $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
