Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will take on a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments by obtaining detailed medical histories and executing physical examinations for patients referred by supervising physicians.
• Independently managing follow-up visits in accordance with the organization’s guidelines, ensuring continuity of care for our pain management patients.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records through meticulous documentation at each appointment.
• Analyzing diagnostic test results to determine the necessity for further follow-up visits and developing additional treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborating with supervising physicians to create individualized medical care plans, incorporating recommendations for treatments and evaluating patient responses to interventions regularly.
• Delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring adherence to productivity metrics established by the clinic.
• Acting as a resource for patients by providing them with educational materials, counseling, and ongoing support regarding their treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic predominantly serves the adolescent and young adult populations within the school system, addressing issues related to pain management resulting from sports injuries, chronic conditions, and other health-related concerns. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• An active and valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in pain management and performing physical examinations.
• Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
