Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ pain levels, medical history, and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Manage medication regimens, including prescribing and monitoring medications for efficacy and safety.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies to promote informed decision-making.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care to ensure the effectiveness of treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care and improved outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients experiencing chronic pain due to various conditions, including musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathic pain, and post-surgical pain. Our diverse patient population ranges from young adults to older individuals, requiring tailored approaches that address the unique needs of each demographic. As their advocate, your focus will be on integrating evidence-based practices that empower patients toward recovery and self-management.

Qualifications

• Active certification as a Nurse Practitioner, with a specialization in Pain Management strongly preferred.
• Current licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State is mandatory.
• Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of clinical experience directly related to pain management, with a solid understanding of treatment modalities, pain assessment tools, and patient-centered care methodologies. Experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
