Silverwood Behavioral Health Center is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team of mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental health needs through virtual consultations and in-depth interviews.
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the individual client's situation.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing tools and strategies to empower clients to manage their mental health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress through electronic health record (EHR) systems for ongoing assessment and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily serve clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, particularly those struggling with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and complex behavioral challenges. You will work with a diverse client population, with varying backgrounds and life experiences, requiring a culturally competent approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.
• A minimum of four years of pertinent clinical experience working in a mental health setting.
• Proven understanding of a variety of mental health disorders and familiarity with effective, evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with both individual and group therapy delivery, incorporating culturally responsive methods.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, demonstrating calmness and effectiveness in challenging situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of building lasting rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and technological tools relevant to remote counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

Silverwood Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
