Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health challenges, using structured interviews and standardized assessment tools to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality individual therapy sessions through video conferencing, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored specifically to each client's needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Set achievable therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and consistently monitor their progress to facilitate meaningful change and recovery.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients about their mental health conditions and the tools available for managing symptoms effectively.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards without compromising client confidentiality.
• Participate in professional development activities including workshops and seminars to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At OptiMindHealth, you will be working primarily with adult clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your compassionate approach will contribute significantly to creating a safe and trusting environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. By providing tailored therapy solutions, you will help clients develop coping strategies to manage their symptoms and create lasting change in their lives.

Qualifications

• A current and valid professional license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.
• Ability to engage clients effectively, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to foster a therapeutic alliance.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental stance towards clients' diverse experiences and challenges are essential.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle client caseloads and required administrative tasks efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing teletherapy services is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to connect with clients remotely.
• A background in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and familiarity with the latest advances in mental health care will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with the therapist's experience and caseload.
