Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting initial evaluations and assessments for new patients to understand their unique mental health needs.

• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and therapeutic needs.

• Providing evidence-based therapy interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that foster healing and personal growth.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes for clients.

• Documenting client progress in a timely manner and adhering to established guidelines for record keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with adults experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Many of our clients may face barriers to accessing traditional mental health services, thus emphasizing the importance of a compassionate and understanding approach tailored to meet their specific circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in Virginia.

• Bachelor's degree in mental health counseling, psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
