Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and emotional needs, focusing on their unique circumstances related to cancer treatment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with all ethical standards.

• Provide both in-person and remote counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, and support groups, ensuring accessibility for all clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current on advancements in mental health treatments and integrate these into clinical practices.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient care and wellness.

• Participate in support groups, providing facilitation and active counseling to enhance community and peer support among clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients dealing with cancer, which adds a distinct layer to the therapeutic process. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is mandatory.

• Active license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) according to state regulations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
